Visa Exemption Arrangement (VEA) for tourism purposes.

Available to 9 passport holders from 9 ASEAN Countries listed below

 

Visa On Arrival (VOA)

Available to passport holders from the countries listed below. VOA price is IDR 500.000 per person, including children, and payable upon arrival in Bali by MasterCard, Visa or Indonesian Rupiah cash. If using other currency it may be charged at the prevailing daily rate of exchange.

Also subject to the Pre-flight and entry conditions below.

Those travelers holding a B211A visa will be subject to the Pre-flight and entry conditions below.

Pre-Flight for International visitors:

• Peduli Lindungi App - sign up for an account and download the app
• 2 Doses or 3 Doses ( Booster) are accepted.

• Completed e-CD (Customs App)
• Immigration documents ( Passport, Visa, Stay Permit)
  • Nationality Passport which is valid and still valid for at least 6 months.
  • A return ticket or a one-way ticket to continue the journey to another country. for VOA & eVISA holders
  • Other required documents in accordance with the current provisions of the Head of the COVID-19 Task Force Handling,
• Accommodation booking: Book your entire stay with your favorite hotel/resort/villa
  • 5 night Quarantine still applies for Indonesian passport holders and Foreign passport holders ( Izin Tinggal Dinas, Diplomatic, KITAS or KITAP) who HAVE NOT yet been fully vaccinated or for any traveller who tests positive upon arrival due to health screening results.

Vaccination requirements

• Either 2 Doses or 3 Doses ( Booster) are accepted.

  • The 1 x COVID-19 vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson, Sputnik V or Convidecia, are accepted

• Completed vaccine or booster must have been administered 14 days before arrival to Bali.

• International travelers aged 0 – 17 do not require to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

• International travelers 18 years and above require to be fully vaccinated.

• COVID-19 recovery - as of 11 July 2022

  • If you have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 a maximum of 30 days before departure and you have been declared inactive in transmitting COVID-19, an exception is made from the obligation to show a fully COVID-19 vaccination card/certificate, a minimum of one dose is also required.

• Travelers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that cause travelers to be unable to receive vaccines, may enter if they meet the following conditions: that they must attach a doctor's certificate from the Government Hospital of the country of departure stating that the person concerned has not and/or cannot participate in the COVID-19 vaccination.

Health Check & PCR Testing Upon arrival all international arrivals are temperature scanned.

In the event the international arrival is detected to have symptoms related to COVID-19 and/or has a body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius, it is obligatory to undergo a RT-PCR re-examination at a cost to be borne by the government for Indonesian citizens and the costs to be borne independently for foreigners.

If no symptoms related to COVID-19 are detected and a body temperature below 37.5 degrees Celsius, international arrivals can continue with their travel plans with the following conditions:

• International arrivals who have received the second or third dose of vaccine at least 14 days before departure, are allowed to continue the journey
• International arrival under 18 years will follow the provisions imposed on their parents or caregivers/travel companions; or
• International arrivals with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that cause the traveler to have not and/or not be able to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination, they are allowed to continue the trip by being obliged to attach a doctor's certificate from the Government Hospital of the country of departure stating that the person concerned has not and /or unable to follow the COVID-19 vaccination.

For international arrivals who are resident in Indonesia ( both Indonesian passport holders and foreign passport holders) who have not been able to get vaccinated or have received the first dose of vaccine at least 14 days before departure, are required to quarantine for 5 x 24 hours in a CHSE hotel/villa/resort.

For International arrivals into Bali who will be undertaking domestic travel to other parts of Indonesia you will be required to effective 17 July 2022 :

• If you have had your 3rd booster or more you do not need a PCR or Antigen test.
• If you have had the second dose you will need take a negative PCR ( 3x 24 hours ) or antigen ( 1x24 hour) tests prior to their departure.
• If you have had on the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine you must have a negative PCR tests ( 3x24 hours) prior to their departure.
• If you are unable to be vaccinated due to health requirements and you have an official medical letter you will need a negative PCR test ( 3x24 hours)

For Domestic Travellers the above applies for travel within Indonesia including Bali.

Indonesian Citizens are required to have a booster to exit and enter Indonesian.

The mandatory conditions are stipulated in the circular letter No.21/2022 the Indonesian Government's COVID-19 task force recently issued, and effective from July 17, 2022.
